SARI - Iran has found new clues about the involvement of Mossad and CIA in the assassination of physicist Masoud Ali-Mohammadi, Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi announced on Tuesday.
Particle physicist Ali-Mohammadi was assassinated in a terrorist bomb attack in Tehran in January 2010. The university professor was killed by a remote-control bomb attached to a motorbike.Earlier, the intelligence minister announced that the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad was behind the assassination.
Talking to reporters in the Northern city of Sari, Moslehi said that the new findings will be announced in the future.
“Unfortunately, the intelligence agencies of Mossad and CIA had carried out their evil activities by abusing certain domestic elements and providing full support for them,” he stated.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Moslehi said that all plots and elements behind the terrorist attack on Dr. Ali-Mohammadi have been identified.
He stated, “Those who had a hand in the assassination of the Iranian scientists and were abused by foreign intelligence agencies have been identified and further information will be announced in the appropriate time in order to bring more disgrace to these agencies.”
Moreover, on January 11, Moslehi said that the Iranian intelligence service had managed to penetrate deep into Israel’s spy networks and 10 people linked to these networks had been arrested.
Commenting on the Rigi terrorist group, Moslehi said, “The Rigi group is being supported by Mossad, CIA, and MI6.”
These intelligence agencies are continuing to carry out their sabotage activities, Moslehi added.
Sedition is still continuing
On the political unrest that occurred after the June 2009 presidential election, Moslehi said, “Sedition is still continuing against the Islamic Iran.”
Domestic and foreign seditionists are still conspiring against Iran, he stated.
However, “Fortunately, the wisdom of the Supreme Leader is foiling all plots one by one,” Moslehi added.
